Acclaimed classical violinist Rachel Barton Pine joined legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth on stage on October 5, 2008 at the House of Blues in Chicago, Illinois. A review of the concert, along with a number of quality photos, can be found on the FourteenG web site.

Uli Jon Roth recently released his first real rock record since 1985's "Beyond The Astral Skies". Entitled "Under A Dark Sky", the CD is the first official release in the long-awaited series of Symphonic Legends, which is a cycle of music written by Uli for his all-encompassing SKY OF AVALON project. Fans of the SCORPIONS and Uli Jon Roth alike will be in awe of the guitar master once again as he delivers his next masterpiece.

On an interview to Black Diamond FM in England, Klaus Meine mentioned that the Scorpions are going back to Studio to record a new album next year, besides talking about the tour in Brazil and the brazilian guests, mentioning Andreas Kisser, guitarrist of Sepultura.

The Scorpions was the first international group to have items included in the Rock Walk Brazil - The Brazilian Rock Walk of Fame. Making most of their recent visit to Brazil, the band received the journalist who created the project, Marcio Mota (in the picture, with the band) and autographed some items, which will be included on the heap of the itinerant display.

The band members have autographed an Epiphine Casino guitar and a board of photos, besides leaving an inscription with a message dedicated to Brazilian musicians who were part of the national rock history: "Congratulations to Brazilian Rockers of RockWalk Brasil - Scorpions".

The itinerant exhibition of the Brazilian Rock Walk Of Fame is opened for visits in Santana Parque Shopping Mall, north of São Paulo.

With a lot of samba, a group of dancers from a Samba school, Beija-Flor, gave their presence as well as a green and yellow cake in a shape of a Flying V guitar.
